Doha Urges Joint International Efforts to Ensure Full Ceasefire Implementation for Sustainable Peace
Doha, Qatar: Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, received a phone call today from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The call focused on the current ceasefire agreement in the area and its continued implementation.
During the call, the two senior officials reviewed the close strategic relations between the State of Qatar and the United States and explored ways to support and develop this partnership. They also discussed several other topics of mutual interest.
Regarding the situation in Gaza, the Qatari official stressed the immediate necessity of joint regional and international efforts to ensure the full implementation of the agreement.
The Prime Minister emphasized that successfully executing the terms of the ceasefire is crucial for paving the way for sustainable peace and the desired stability in the region.
