Notable Figures in the Latest Epstein Estate Photo Release

WASHINGTON, D.C.: On the eve of the Justice Department’s final transparency deadline, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released a fresh cache of nearly 70 photographs from the personal collection of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These undated images, obtained from Epstein’s computer and email accounts, offer new insights into the expansive social network maintained by the financier.

The release includes several high-profile figures from the worlds of technology, academia, and politics:

Bill Gates: The Microsoft co-founder appears in photos standing next to an unidentified woman whose face has been redacted. Gates has previously expressed regret for his meetings with Epstein, calling them a “huge mistake” aimed at philanthropic discussions.

Noam Chomsky: The renowned linguist and public intellectual is pictured seated next to Epstein on what appears to be a private aircraft.

Sergey Brin & David Brooks: Google co-founder Sergey Brin is seen in a social setting alongside New York Times columnist David Brooks. A spokesperson for the Times stated that Brooks attended a single, widely attended dinner in 2011 to inform his reporting and had no further contact with Epstein.

Steve Bannon: Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon is captured in an office setting speaking with Epstein.

Woody Allen & Ehud Barak: Filmmaker Woody Allen and former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak are also visible in the new batch, pictured at social gatherings involving Epstein.

Beyond the prominent figures, the release contains several “unexplained” and disturbing images. These include close-ups of a woman’s body—specifically the neck and foot—with passages from Vladimir Nabokov’s novel Lolita scrawled in black ink.

The cache also features a screenshot of a text exchange discussing the “scouting” of girls for “J” at a price of $1,000 each, alongside redacted passports and ID cards from countries including Russia, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic. The House Oversight Committee maintains that while the photos illustrate Epstein’s deep ties to the elite, being pictured in the estate’s files does not inherently establish wrongdoing.
