Emirati Official Praises Trump’s Peace Efforts as Talks Focus on Regional Stability and Development
MOSCOW: Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and UAE National Security Advisor, held a meeting with US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Weitkov and Jared Kushner during their visit to the United Arab Emirates.
The discussions primarily centered on the latest developments concerning the ceasefire in Gaza and the efforts being undertaken by the United States to ensure the consolidation of the agreement reached as part of President Donald Trump’s comprehensive peace plan.
The Emirati official conveyed his praise for the American President’s efforts to end the conflict in Gaza and his consistent pursuit of peace and stability across the Middle East. Sheikh Tahnoun also expressed his appreciation for the significant roles played by both Steve Weitkov and Jared Kushner in advancing these diplomatic initiatives.
In a broader context, the meeting explored practical ways to enhance stability across the region and stressed the imperative of moving away from the continuous escalation currently being witnessed.
