NEOM, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met at the NEOM Palace to discuss a range of key regional developments and strengthen bilateral ties. The meeting took place on last evening and underscored the strategic partnership between the two nations.
According to the official Saudi Press Agency, the two leaders focused on the latest developments in Palestine, a central issue for both Riyadh and Cairo. They reviewed efforts to de-escalate the conflict and find a pathway toward a lasting resolution. The leaders also discussed broader regional crises, including the situations in Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Libya, and Yemen, as well as the critical issue of Red Sea security.
The meeting also covered ways to enhance cooperation across various fields, including economic, political, and developmental sectors. The discussions were held to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.
