Key focus areas of the internship include fundamentals of research methodology and literature review, Orientation on the J&K Startup Policy 2024–27, preparation and presentation of internship reports, awareness of various self-employment schemes operational in the Union Territory of J&K, career guidance on pursuing entrepreneurship as a viable option.

The program was inaugurated by Joint Director JKEDI Chand Kishore Sharma.

Meanwhile 38 students completed their summer internship program at JKEDI District Centre Jammu on July 28, 2025.
