Kishtwar : The flagship outreach initiative “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign launched under the Good Governance Week continued with renewed momentum across Kishtwar District on day 6, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to transparent, responsive and citizen-centric governance.
Under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, officers from the line departments undertook extensive field visits across 13 blocks and interacted directly with local residents, listened to their issues and facilitated on-the-spot resolution of numerous public grievances. The public was also sensitized about major government flagship welfare schemes. The departments under the supervision of the respective Nominated Officers, provided revenue-related services, issued Labour Cards, Birth and Death Certificates.
The primary focus remained on awareness generation, efficient service delivery and timely resolution of public issues.
Deputy Commissioner, Pankaj Kumar Sharma presided over a program at GHS Poochal, where he listened to public grievances, addressed several issues on the spot and assured timely disposal of the remaining demands.
Emphasizing the significance of the initiative, the Deputy Commissioner stated that Good Governance Week has played a vital role in bridging the gap between the administration and citizens.
