Budgam : The observance of the nationwide Good Governance Week “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” continued with renewed momentum on its fourth day in Budgam, as the District Administration reinforced its outreach efforts to bring governance closer to the people and strengthen grassroots service delivery.
Marking the fourth day, a series of public facilitation and grievance redressal camps were organised across blocks and panchayat halqas of the district. The camps provided a platform for citizens to directly interact with officers of various departments, enabling swift redressal of both fresh and long-pending grievances received through online and offline channels. Many public issues were addressed on the spot, reflecting the administration’s proactive and responsive approach.
The day also witnessed focused efforts towards achieving saturation of key welfare and social security schemes. Special assistance was extended to eligible beneficiaries for enrolment and availing benefits under various government programmes, ensuring that no deserving citizen is left out.
Officers from line departments held interactive and informative sessions with the public, disseminating details about Mission YUVA, PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, social welfare initiatives, employment and livelihood schemes, besides other flagship programmes. Emphasis was also laid on sensitising citizens about the use of online public service delivery platforms for transparent and efficient access to government services.
The District Administration Budgam reaffirmed its resolve to uphold the principles of good governance through transparency, accountability and citizen participation, stating that the initiatives under Good Governance Week “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” will continue to strengthen public trust and improve service delivery across the district.
