Shopian : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta Thursday chaired a meeting in his office chambers to review the implementation and progress of the revenue service delivery as mandated under Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA).
During the meeting, The DC emphasized the importance of ensuring timely and seamless public service delivery as mandated under PSGA. He stressed that all revenue offices must strictly adhere to notified timelines.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to closely monitor service delivery mechanisms, ensure proper record maintenance and address any bottlenecks that may hinder timely services. He reiterated the need for greater coordination among officers and field staff for effective implementation of the Act.
The officers were instructed to submit regular reports and ensure 100% compliance with PSGA guidelines to uphold the spirit of transparent and efficient governance.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner ADC Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz; ACR, Shakoor Ahmed Dar and all Tehsildars of the district.
