Jammu: Government Degree College Marh Thursday organized screening of an informative video highlighting the physical, psychological, and social consequences of tobacco consumption. The programme was held as part of “No Tobacco Campaign 3.0.”
Convener Prahari Club Nasha Mukt Bharat Prof. Malti Rajput coordinated the event.
Prof. Ramneek Kour, Principal of the college sensitised the youth about the dangers associated with smoking and the use of other tobacco products, while encouraging them to become advocates for a tobacco-free society.
The programme concluded with an interactive session between the faculty members and students, reaffirming the college’s commitment to the national mission of eradicating tobacco use among youth. The faculty members who participated in the discussion were Dr. Balwinder Saini, Prof. Sachin Kumar, Dr. Shakun Sharma and Prof. Surbhi Gupta.
