Kashmiri Doctor Arrested in Faridabad; 350kg of Explosive Material Seized

FARIDABAD – Police from Faridabad and Jammu and Kashmir conducted a joint operation, arresting a Kashmiri doctor in Faridabad and recovering a massive quantity of potential explosive material from his residence.

The arrested individual was identified as Dr. Mujjabal, a doctor working at Al Falah University in Faridabad. The arrest and recovery took place at his home in the Dhauj area.

Police Commissioner Satendra Kumar Gupta informed the media today that the raid yielded a significant cache of material. At the time of the arrest, officers recovered over 350 kg of inflammable material, along with live cartridges, magazines, timers, and circuit devices.

Gupta stated that the recovered items could potentially be used in explosives or terrorist activities.

The operation also led to a second arrest of an individual in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, indicating a wider network.

The Police Commissioner revealed that the joint investigation has been active for the past 15 days and is still ongoing. A team of forensic experts has been called in to thoroughly examine the recovered material.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the network was operating interstate, and authorities have already identified several suspects as the probe continues.
