Ramban Administration, Police felicitate SDRF, Civil QRT for dedicated Services

Ramban: The District and Police Administration Ramban Saturday jointly organized a meet to acknowledge and felicitate the dedicated services rendered by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Civil Quick Response Teams (QRTs) during natural calamities and emergency situations across the district.

Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Alyas Khan, Senior Superintendent of Police, Arun Gupta, SSP Traffic NHW, Raja Adil Hamid, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak, Tehsildar and other police and civil officers were present on the occasion.

The Deputy Commissioner commended the exemplary commitment and professionalism of SDRF and Civil QRT members who remained at the forefront to safeguard lives and property during floods, landslides, road accidents and other emergencies. He urged the Civil QRT teams to share their requirements and suggestions to further strengthen district’s emergency response mechanism, particularly in view of the upcoming winter season.

The SSP, while appreciating their unwavering dedication, highlighted the crucial role played by SDRF and QRT personnel in timely rescue and relief operations, often carried out under difficult and life-threatening conditions. Both DC and SSP reiterated the administration’s resolve to enhance disaster preparedness, response coordination, and inter-departmental synergy to ensure effective handling of any eventuality.

The event concluded with collective reaffirmation of the commitment to build a more resilient, disaster-ready Ramban district.
