DLIC approves 458 cases under JKCIP & IDDS at G’bal

Ganderbal : A meeting of District level Implementation Committee (DLIC) was convened Monday here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore to take thorough review of submitted applications and subsequently approve the cases under Jammu & Kashmir Comprehensive Investment Plan (JKCIP) and Integrated Dairy Development Scheme (IDDS).

The department heads submitted various cases for consideration, which were scrutinized as per the scheme guidelines. After deliberation, the committee approved 458 cases viz. 441 under JKCIP and 17 under IDDS for financial assistance and technical support.

On the occasion, the DC stressed upon the officers to facilitate beneficiaries and expedite field-level activities so that the objectives of agriculture and allied sectors schemes are effectively achieved.

Earlier, the DC reviewed the set targets, achievements so far, and identified implementation gaps. He directed the concerned departments to take proactive measures to bridge any deficiencies and ensure maximum acceptance of application and farmer coverage under these schemes.

He directed all sectoral heads to expedite and achieve targets of farm and farmer registrations under KKG.

He also directed the Lead District Manager to dispose-off pending cases under Kisan Credit Card.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, AGM NABARD, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, District Sericulture Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries, Area Marketing Officer Horticulture (P&M), District Nodal Officer JKCIP and Cluster Head J&K Bank, besides others concerned.
