Udhampur : On the directions of District Development Commissioner Saloni Rai, Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore Thursday convened a meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee under the J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme here in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.
The meeting aimed to facilitate the establishment of employment-generating ventures for the unemployed youth of the district, wherein J&K KVIB acts as the implementing agency.
During the meeting, 41 applications were placed before the Committee for consideration. Out of these, 30 applications were approved for bank sponsorship after due scrutiny and interaction with the applicants.
The meeting was attended by Yogesh Joshi, District Officer KVIB Udhampur and Convenor DLTFC along with other committee members.
