Master Trainers conducted detailed demonstrations on handling of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) units, along with hands-on practical exercises for all categories of polling staff.

The trainees were sensitized about the importance of maintaining transparency, impartiality, and adherence to the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the entire polling process.

The training also focused on mock poll procedures, sealing protocols, polling station setup, and accessibility arrangements to facilitate inclusive voting, especially for senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

District-level officers and Nodal Officers monitored the training process at all venues to ensure comprehensive coverage and effective participation.

The DEO has directed that every official engaged in poll duty must attend all phases of training sessions to ensure foolproof arrangements on the polling day.

The next phase of training is scheduled to continue in the coming days, during which Presiding Officers, Polling Officers, and other staff will undergo further sessions focusing on practical simulations and case-based learning to strengthen preparedness for the smooth conduct of the bye-elections.
