DDC Chairman inaugurates two-day Dangal event at PG College Bhaderwah

DODA: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Doda today concluded the Inter-District UT Level All Age Group (AAG) Wrestling Tournament for Boys and Girls here at the Indoor Sports Stadium. The multi-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young wrestlers representing different districts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The tournament served as a vibrant platform for showcasing strength, talent and sportsmanship among the youth.
Throughout the competition participants displayed exceptional skills and discipline, making every bout thrilling and competitive. The final results reflected impressive performances by different districts.
The tournament was organized under the direction of Director Youth Services and Sports Anuradha Gupta and the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Vinakshi Koul with active support from the District Administration Doda.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jaffar Haider Sheikh congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of the participating districts for their exemplary sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
The event concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, graced by Zonal Physical Education Officers, Lecturers, Activity Incharges, Masters and Teachers who appreciated the participants for their zeal, dedication and spirit of fair play. The successful culmination of the tournament marked another milestone in promoting youth empowerment and sports excellence in District Doda.
