JAMMU – Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha engaged in a day of significant meetings and cultural activities at Raj Bhawan, highlighted by a discussion with a prominent spiritual leader on peace initiatives and the release of a new book of Punjabi poetry.
His Holiness Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji, Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and the World Peace Centre, called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today to discuss his ongoing efforts to promote peace, harmony, and inter-faith dialogue.
A key agenda point was the proposal for establishing a J&K Chapter of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti. Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji was accompanied by Shri Sandeep Jain, National Secretary of the All India Jain Conference, and Shri Pankaj Jain, Patron of the Bharatiya Jain Sanghatna, J&K.
In a separate event, Lieutenant Governor Sinha released the Punjabi Poetry book “Mele Pattanan De,” authored by the noted writer and Padma Shri awardee, Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri.
The Lieutenant Governor took the opportunity to congratulate the author, complimenting him on his distinguished contribution to the literary world.
The Lieutenant Governor’s schedule also included calls from political and public representatives. Advocate Ankur Sharma, a Spokesperson for the BJP, met with Sinha. Following this, Ms. Vandana Kumari, former Sarpanch of Flora Nagbani, Jammu, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
