GANDERBAL: In order to assess the physical and financial progress of the District Capex Budget 2025–26 and Constituency Development Fund (CDF) scheme, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, today chaired a review meeting here.
At the outset, DC sought detailed sector-wise status of works including Roads & Buildings, Education, Health, Urban Development, Jal Shakti, KPDCL, I&FC, Ground Water Division, YS&S, Municipal Council and Rural Development along with ongoing as well as new works under the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) and Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme (APDP).
During the meeting, DC reviewed the status of approved works in detail and called upon the concerned officers to ensure time-bound completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
While reviewing projects under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), DC asked the officers to expedite the pace of execution so that these works are completed within the set timelines. He directed for regular monitoring and reporting of works to ensure transparency, accountability and effective utilisation of funds.
Emphasizing the importance of timely project delivery, DC directed all concerned departments to adhere strictly to the deadlines.
He directed Block Development Officers to submit report of expenditure under spillover works to his office.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer, Dy. CEO JAKEDA, Dy. Registrar Cooperatives, Ex. Engineers of PHE, I&FC, R&B, KPDCL, Ground Water, REW and R&B, besides SYS&SO, and CEO MC Ganderbal.
