Bandipora: As part of the Seva Parv concluding ceremony and the ongoing Aadi Karam Yogi Abhiyan, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, today visited Kudara village and presided over a Special Gram Sabha aimed at strengthening public engagement and ensuring inclusive delivery of government welfare initiatives.
The event witnessed the participation of representatives from various government departments and a large gathering of local residents.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner directly engaged with the public, listened to their issues, and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to grassroots development.
In her address, she emphasized the importance of people-centric governance, transparency, and responsive administration, assuring prompt and effective redressal of public concerns. She further informed that Phase 4 of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) is currently under process, aimed at upgrading road infrastructure in Kudara and surrounding areas to improve connectivity and boost economic activity.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by District Programme Officer, Poshan Project Bandipora, Yaar Ali Khan; DDC Arin, Ghulam Mohiuddin; and other concerned officers.
As part of Seva Parv activities, Special Gram Sabhas were organized across all Panchayats of Bandipora district, providing a vital platform for citizen engagement, scheme awareness, and participatory decision-making, with a focus on reviewing government schemes and addressing public grievances.
