GANDERBAL:As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv-2025 celebrations, a Mega Health Camp was today organized at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan under the banner of Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA).
The camp was inaugurated by SDM Kangan, Dr. Nazir Ahmad, along with DDC Kangan and the Medical Superintendent, SDH Kangan, in the presence of the dedicated medical team.
During the camp, a wide range of health services and awareness activities were conducted, including NCD Screening, ABHA ID Generation, Senior Citizen Card Generation (70+ years) under Ayushman Bharat, ANC Check-ups, Oral Health Screening, Immunization, Health & Wellness Awareness Sessions, and a Blood Donation Camp.
On the occasion, SDM Kangan distributed Senior Citizen Cards (70+) among beneficiaries, highlighting the administration’s commitment towards citizen welfare and inclusive healthcare.
The camp witnessed overwhelming participation from the public, who actively took part in screenings, awareness sessions, and the blood donation drive.
Meanwhile, as part of Sewa Parv-2025, under PMAY(U) 2.0, a Door-to-Door Campaign was conducted in Arampora Ward No. 05 of Municipal Council Ganderbal. The campaign focused on accelerating verification of applications, completing sanctioned houses, mobilizing community awareness, organizing camps and loan melas, and sensitizing beneficiaries regarding the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna.
In addition, the Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department held awareness programs for farmers on various government schemes including HADP, JKCIP, PM KISSAN, KCC, IPM, Natural Farming, and Water Conservation practices.
Similarly, under Poshan Maah activities, ICDS organized programmes in Anganwadi Centres (AWCs), focusing on management of SAM children and weight monitoring of left-out children through awareness sessions.
The day’s activities under Sewa Parv-2025 highlighted the administration’s commitment to public health, community empowerment, sustainable farming practices, and cleanliness awareness across Ganderbal.
