Ganderbal: The much-awaited final of the Law Department Inter-Semester Cricket Tournament witnessed a high-voltage clash between the 5th Semester and the 7th Semester at the Physical Education Ground, Ganderbal.
After an electrifying contest filled with explosive batting and thrilling moments, the 7th Semester emerged victorious by six wickets, lifting the championship title in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
Registrar, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir along with Prof. Dr Farooq Ahmad Mir Head and Dean Department of Law and Mr. Kaukab Azeeb, Director Sports graced the occasion with their presence. Dr. Nisar congratulated both the teams for their grit, determination and sportsmanship that was exhibited. He emphasized the role that sports have on health and over all development.
Prof. Dr. Farooq added to the flow by congratulating the teams and highlighting the importance of participation in these activities. Dr. Azeem elucidated the value of discipline and exhibition of sportsmanship and spirit on the field as well as in life. The Department of Physical Education played a huge role in making the tournament a grand success.
