Baramulla: In order to review various revenue-related matters with special emphasis on Srinagar–Uri Road and RKCTC Road land acquisition cases, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Wednesday chaired a meeting here.
During the meeting, DC directed the concerned officers to complete all pending mutations and title verifications at the earliest. He further instructed them to ensure a hindrance-free Right of Way (RoW) for smooth progress of developmental projects in the district.
Minga Sherpa stressed that all migrant grievances should be disposed-off within a week’s time to provide timely relief to the applicants. He directed the revenue officials to work in close coordination for achieving this target.
Moreover, DC reviewed the status of digitization of land records and maps. He impressed upon the officers to complete the process in a time-bound manner so that transparency, accountability, and easy public access to land-related information can be ensured.
