Mega Tiranga Rally to be held on 12th August from Mini Secretariat
GANDERBAL, AUGUST 07: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) campaign 2025 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a preparatory meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Syed Faheem Bihaqi, to review the progress of ongoing activities and to finalize arrangements for the upcoming Mega Tiranga Rally, scheduled for 12th August 2025.
The rally, which will commence from the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, is aimed at fostering patriotism and encouraging active public participation.
In addition to the Mega Rally, a series of other patriotic events have been finalized, including a Bike Rally, Boat Rally at Manasbal, and Horse Rally at Sonamarg, to further promote the spirit of nationalism.
During the meeting, ADC conducted a comprehensive review of the phase-wise activities under the campaign and emphasized timely and meticulous preparations. He directed all line departments, educational institutions, and concerned stakeholders to work in close coordination to ensure smooth execution of events and maximum public outreach.
Preparations for the Independence Day celebrations were also reviewed. ADC instructed departments to ensure well-coordinated implementation of responsibilities, with special attention to the quality and inclusiveness of cultural performances.
Furthermore, the Reception Committee and Seating Arrangement Committee, already constituted for the event, were asked to diligently manage guest protocol and related arrangements.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Kangan, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Chief Education Officer, and other concerned officers.
