The delegations highlighted long pending concerns related to service matters, land compensation and civic amenities seeking early resolution.

A separate delegation led by Retired Colonel Rashid Ahmed raised certain issues emphasising the need for timely administrative action in accordance with the established norms.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of PET Society Jammu & Kashmir brought to the Minister’s notice the pressing issue of ensuring uninterrupted and regular water supply to Darul Salam Children Home at Jadeed Baghat, Sopore.

Additionally, the contractors engaged under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) met the Minister. They sought release of their pending claims against the works already executed under the mission.

Several individual applicants also submitted their grievances and requests, seeking personal intervention for early redressal.

The Minister listened patiently to each delegation and took serious notice of the issues raised. He issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers to examine all genuine cases promptly and ensure their expeditious resolution, strictly in accordance with the rules and within the stipulated timelines.

The Minister emphasized that addressing the public grievances and facilitating the citizens through a transparent and accountable system remains a top priority of the present dispensation.

He further directed the officers to maintain close coordination with stakeholders and ensure that no genuine public concern is left unattended.
