Good Governance Week 2025: District-Level Good Governance Workshop held at Kulgam

KULGAM: As part of Good Governance Week under the initiative “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore,” a District-Level Good Governance Workshop was held today at Mini-Secretariat Kulgam.

The workshop aimed at sharing best practices, success stories, and innovative, citizen-centric initiatives undertaken by various departments to strengthen transparent and responsive governance.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Viqar Ahmad Giri in his address highlighted the objective of the workshop, emphasizing the need for innovative approaches and community-driven solutions to achieve sustainable development goals.

The workshop held detailed discussion on preparing a Vision Document for the District Kulgam for the year 2047, District @100.

During the workshop, panelists and representatives from various departments engaged in detailed discussions on key sectors critical to the district’s long-term growth.

 The participants shared insights, experiences, and strategic recommendations across a wide spectrum of development themes.

Key subjects deliberated during the workshop included Education and Skill Development, Environmental Sustainability, Youth and Sports Development, and sharing of Good Governance Practices and Initiatives.

They shared valuable perspectives and reaffirmed their commitment to collaboratively work towards achieving the envisioned goals for the district.
