Anantnag : Aimed to spread awareness about tuberculosis and promote holistic healthcare approaches, the Department of AYUSH in collaboration with the District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO), Anantnag organised a one day awareness camp Saturday at PHC Mattan.
The programme was attended by the District AYUSH Officer, District Tuberculosis Officer, BMO Mattan, doctors, health workers and TB patients.
During the camp, patients were educated about disease management, treatment adherence, and the role of AYUSH therapies in supporting recovery. Nutritional kits and medicines were also distributed among them for their treatment and overall well-being.
The initiative highlighted the joint efforts of the Department of AYUSH and the Health Department in strengthening TB care and community awareness and was widely appreciated by TB patients.
