The primary objective of the programme was to raise awareness about the National Lok Adalat as an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism. The speakers emphasized its benefits, including speedy, cost-effective, and amicable settlement of disputes, reduction of court backlogs, and enhanced access to affordable justice for all citizens. Interactive sessions were also conducted to facilitate better understanding among participants.

DLSA Budgam deputed Deputy LADC and Assistant LADC as resource persons for the programme. They highlighted the key features, procedures, and advantages of the Lok Adalat system, encouraging the public to utilize this effective forum for dispute resolution.

In addition, the Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) of DLSA Budgam conducted door-to-door awareness campaigns to educate the general public about the 4th National Lok Adalat, ensuring wider outreach and greater community participation.
