Ramban: Director Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Government of India Sumeet Singh- the Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) for the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) Khari under NITI Aayog Friday chaired a detailed review meeting with district officers here in the Conference Hall of the District Administrative Complex.

Assistant Commissioner Development Sheraz Ahmed; Chief Planning Officer Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather and representatives from the departments associated with the ABP attended the meeting.

The CPO reviewed the Block Development Strategy, implementation status of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and progress achieved on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under the Aspirational Block Programme. The ACD gave a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, detailing achievements, targets and ongoing interventions.

Officers from ICDS, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Education, Health, Jal Shakti, and other line departments presented updated status reports, highlighting progress, bottlenecks and field-level challenges.

The review meeting aimed to further improve service delivery, ensure better inter-departmental coordination and expedite the implementation of welfare schemes to strengthen socio-economic indicators in Block Khari.

Emphasizing the need for result-oriented execution, the Central Prabhari Officer directed the frontline workers and sectoral officers to bridge existing gaps on priority and focus on saturation of all beneficiary-oriented schemes. He stressed the importance of timely completion of works and sustained monitoring to improve the overall performance of the Aspirational Block.
