DDC Chairman inaugurates two-day Dangal event at PG College Bhaderwah

KISHTWAR: District Kishtwar witnessed a vibrant culmination of the Inter-School Zonal Level Competitions, organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports.
These competitions held over the past days across various zones, concluded successfully today at multiple venues marking a celebration of youth talent, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
The event was conducted under the guidance of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jaffer Haider Sheikh, whose continued efforts have significantly uplifted the sporting culture across the district.
Among the highlights, Inderwal Zone conducted a wide range of competitions for U/19 Boys and Girls in the disciplines of Volleyball, Badminton, Chess, Cricket, and Athletics.
The events were efficiently coordinated under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) Inderwal, with the dedicated support of zonal staff and volunteers.
The Department appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and the commitment of sports officials and school authorities in ensuring the smooth execution of the competitions.
These zonal-level events serve as an important foundation for scouting talented youth who will represent the district in higher-level tournaments.
The Department of Youth Services & Sports Kishtwar remains committed to its mission of fostering holistic development through sports and physical education.
