BARAMULLA: The KPDCL Division Baramulla organised an awareness programme on the Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana at Dakbanglow Baramulla, witnessing enthusiastic participation from local citizens.
During the session, experts briefed the participants about the benefits of the scheme, including the application process, installation procedure, subsidy details, and overall advantages for domestic consumers.
Beneficiaries who have already availed the scheme were also invited to share their success stories, encouraging others to adopt rooftop solar systems.
Speaking on the occasion, Executive Engineer explained in detail how consumers can apply for the scheme, the installation process, and the financial incentives available. He urged the public to take full advantage of the initiative to significantly reduce their electricity bills.
Stalls were installed by registered vendors to provide on-spot information and guidance to the public.
