BARAMULLA: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla chaired a comprehensive meeting to review the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Scheme (Muft Bijili Yojna) in the district.
During the meeting, the DC set clear targets for all subdivisions under KPDCL to ensure timely and effective implementation of the scheme. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts for the achievement of the set objectives.
The DC further directed officers to organize extensive awareness camps among the masses to ensure that the benefits of the PM Surya Ghar Scheme reach every eligible household. He underlined the role of public participation in the successful rollout of the scheme.
The DC called for regular reviews at the subdivision level to ensure that the targets are met in a time-bound manner and maximum benefits are extended to the people of Baramulla.
Officials from relevant departments attended the meeting and discussed strategies for smooth execution, monitoring, and reporting of the scheme’s progress.
