Two Unidentified Infiltrators Neutralized by Army in J&K’s Keran Sector
Kupwara: Two infiltrators were killed last night in an encounter with security forces in the Keran Sector of Kupwara district, Jammu & Kashmir, successfully thwarting a cross-LoC intrusion attempt.
An Army spokesperson confirmed that alert troops intercepted a group of terrorists who were attempting to sneak into this side of the Line of Control (LoC). When challenged by the troops, a fierce encounter ensued.
The spokesperson stated that the operation resulted in the killing of two unidentified infiltrators. The operation in the area is reported to be ongoing to ensure no other terrorists are present. Security forces remain on high alert along the LoC.
