Reaffirms Government’s Focus on quality education
KULGAM: Minister for Education, Social Welfare, Health and Medical Education, Sakeena Itoo today addressed the Annual Day function at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Nehama here.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment towards providing quality education and improving infrastructure and facilities across educational institutions.
She highlighted the importance of holistic development, encouraging students to excel in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. “The Education Department and teachers have a role is pivotal in shaping the future of society,” the Minister remarked.
She further said that the government is taking all necessary steps to strengthen the education system and ensure that every child has access to better learning opportunities and a conducive academic environment.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents, featuring a range of cultural performances and presentations showcasing the school’s achievements.
Director General, Education Department, Dr. G.N. Itoo, and other officers of district administration were also present on the occasion.
