Jammu: The Department of Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Jammu Thursday convened a meeting of all Joint Directors of Agriculture Department and Chief Agriculture Officers (CAOs) through video conference to review the expenditure made till date under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), CAPEX, NABARD and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS).
The meeting was chaired by Director Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta and was also attended by Regional Level SMS, Sanjay Anand, Deputy Director Planning, Priyanka Parihar, Accounts Officer Vishnu Kant Sharma along with officers and staff of the department.
During the meeting, the Director Agriculture took a detailed review of financial progress and physical achievements under various schemes and emphasized the need to ensure time-bound utilization of funds. He directed all district heads to expedite implementation of approved works and submit updated expenditure details regularly, so that the benefits of these schemes reach farming communities in an effective manner.
The Director also underscored the importance of maintaining transparency and accountability in execution and asked officers to monitor progress at ground level for timely completion of targets.
