Srinagar: On the occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), prominent social activist Mymoona Qureshi has extended her warm greetings to the Muslim community.
In her message, Qureshi underscored the profound significance of the day, stating, “The life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) are not confined to any one community or nation, but serve as a universal code of compassion, justice, and moral integrity for the entire humanity.” She emphasized that the Prophet’s life story (Seerat) teaches that genuine faith is expressed through serving others with sincerity, patience, and humility.
Qureshi also addressed the growing global issues of conflict and division, noting that the Prophet’s teachings offer a path toward reconciliation. She urged people to “embrace harmony, forgiveness, and selflessness as the foundation of a just society.”
Concluding her message, Qureshi expressed her hope that the observance of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) would inspire a renewed commitment to righteous living and promote peace and unity among communities.
