DC inaugurates inter-district provincial level Kho-Kho tournament at Kulgam

DDC Chairman inaugurates two-day Dangal event at PG College Bhaderwah

Kulgam : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, Tuesday inaugurated the inter-district provincial level Kho-Kho tournament here at Model Higher Secondary School Chawalgam Kulgam.
It was informed that a total of 20 teams from 10 districts, representing two age categories (U-14 and U-17), are participating in the tournament.
On the occasion, DC interacted with the players and encouraged them to showcase zeal, discipline and sportsmanship during the event.
He said that sports play a vital role in shaping personality and character of an individual, as they inculcate discipline, teamwork and resilience, while also keeping one physically and mentally fit.
The inaugural event was attended by ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri; DYS&SO, and other officers.
