The meeting was aimed to evaluate and approve eligible applications received from various Agriculture and allied departments under these schemes as well as on ground implementation.
After holding a threadbare discussion, the Committee approved eligible applications received in Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Area Marketing. Similarly, under Integrated Sheep Development Scheme (ISDS) agriculture Crop Insurance Premium, cases were approved.
Under JKCIP, beneficiaries will be extended assistance for installation of borewells, cultivation of aromatic species, Shallot, hill garlic, mushroom, saffron area expansion, development of high-yield orchards, solar fencing, construction of sheep sheds, supply of trolleys, and other modern interventions aimed at improving productivity and sustainability.

DC specifically directed to focus on establishment of units after approval and their tracking.
